Francis is a Mechanical Engineer with more than 15 years of experience. Since the beginning of his career he has shown tremendous passion with regard to cleanroom technologies applied to industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Microelectronics, Healthcare and Food and Beverage. After graduation from Notre Dame University in Lebanon he started his career with M+W as Manager for Pharmaceutical Projects in the MENA region. He managed projects and oversaw the commissioning, execution and validation activities for manufacturing plants for several multinational companies.
Francis held the General Manager position at Hikma SPA in the company’s site in Pavia, Italy. His next endeavour was the first industrial turnkey project for Sterile Injectables in Lebanon. He has held the position of Operation Director at Arwan Pharmaceutical Industries and has designed and executed projects in compliance with national and international standards and according to the highest quality standards. After holding the position of Vice President for Industrial Operations Development in Benta Pharmaceutical Industries he established 3P Tech.
Francis has designed and realized projects in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Algeria, Egypt, Thailand, Iran, Jordan and Lebanon, during which he gained substantial professional expertise and experience of working in multicultural environments and in a number of different fields, including cytotoxics, vaccines, oral solid dosage forms, cephalosporins, sterile injectable products, stem cell applications, protein synthesis, hormones, operation rooms, isolation rooms, hospital pharmacies, IVFs, CSSD applications and plants creating medical devices.
